Recipe Pro questions and answers

What are kitchen staples?

Kitchen staples are common food ingredients and spices typically found in the average person's kitchen, such as salt, pepper, dried herbs, cooking oil, butter, milk, flour, and sugar. In Create and Meal Plans, Recipe Pro may assume these basics are available and label unlisted ones as Kitchen staple rather than ingredients you entered. This is an assumption, not a record of what you own, so check that you have enough before cooking and add anything missing to your shopping list. Dietary restrictions and quantities you enter still apply. Below 100% ingredient match, an important missing ingredient may still be marked Need to buy, even if it is normally a kitchen staple.

What is Recipe Pro?

Recipe Pro is an AI recipe app that suggests meal ideas from ingredients you already have. Add items such as chickpeas, spinach, lemon, and rice, then review the generated recipe suggestions before cooking.

How does Recipe Pro use the ingredients I enter?

Recipe Pro uses your ingredient list as a starting point for AI-generated recipe suggestions. The suggestions may not use every ingredient or include everything else you need, so check the complete recipe before cooking.

Can I use Recipe Pro at the grocery store to decide what to cook tonight?

Yes. If you are at the grocery store and unsure what to cook for dinner, browse the aisles and enter ingredients that catch your eye into Create. Generate recipe ideas and see what piques your interest. Review the full ingredient list, choose something you would like to make, and pick up what you need before heading home.

Is Recipe Pro publicly available?

Public availability and a launch date have not been announced. You can request launch updates on the Recipe Pro website. Joining the waitlist does not create an account or guarantee availability.

Are Recipe Pro nutrition details exact?

Nutrition information is estimated and may be incomplete or inaccurate. Check ingredient labels and reliable nutrition sources when precision matters.

Can dietary preferences or an ingredient blacklist make recipes safe for food allergies?

No. Dietary preferences and an ingredient blacklist are not allergy-safety controls or certification. AI-generated recipes can contain mistakes; always inspect the complete recipe and product labels, and seek qualified advice for serious allergies.

What happens when I join the launch waitlist?

The waitlist collects your email address and your consent so Recipe Pro can manage the list and send launch updates only. Joining does not create an app account or buy a subscription, and a successful signup response does not mean an email was sent.

Can I withdraw consent or remove my waitlist email?

You can withdraw consent or ask to remove your waitlist email by contacting chef@recipepro.io. If launch update emails are sent, they will include an unsubscribe method. See the Privacy Policy for details.
